BiMinder ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Account Information
- Email address (from Firebase Authentication)
- Display name (optional)
- Timezone preference
Birthday Data
- Friends' names and birthday dates (month and day only — we do NOT collect birth years)
- Optional notes about friends
Device Information
- Device type and operating system
- FCM token for push notifications
- App version
Usage Data
- Feature usage analytics
- Crash reports
How We Use Your Information
- Store and manage your friends' birthdays
- Create and manage Telegram planning groups
- Schedule automated event creation and destruction
- Send push notifications at appropriate times
- Process subscription purchases through RevenueCat

We never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it beyond the stated purposes.
Telegram Integration
When you create a birthday planning event, we create a temporary Telegram group for coordination. The group is permanently deleted after the birthday passes.
Data Retention
- Data is retained while your account is active
- Soft-deleted friends remain for 30 days, then hard-deleted
- Account deletion: all personal data removed within 30 days
Data Security
- All API communications use HTTPS/TLS
- MongoDB Atlas encrypts stored data
- Firebase Auth with secure token management
Your Rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from the app Settings. For additional requests, contact privacy@biminder.app.
Children's Privacy
BiMinder is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
